General Assembly and KFH Sign MoU to Advance Digital Talent and Financial Innovation

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – 22 October 2026: General Assembly – Bahrain has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kuwait Finance House (KFH), one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom. This strategic partnership aims to enhance digital capabilities, develop future-ready talent, and bridge the gap between tech skills and the evolving demands of Bahrain’s financial sector.

The partnership brings together General Assembly’s experience in developing digital talent with KFH’s knowledge of the financial sector. The two organizations aim to better connect skills development with employment opportunities and support Bahraini talent entering the workforce, through recruitment opportunities, training, industry engagement and practical learning.

A key component of the MoU involves connecting KFH with a pool of trained tech professionals across various disciplines, including Software Engineering, Data Science, UX Design, and other digital fields. This allows KFH to recruit highly qualified candidates from General Assembly into its workforce, facilitating their seamless transition from training to employment while ensuring the bank maintains a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving sector.

Moreover, the MoU emphasizes practical industry exposure for learners through project-based collaborations, enabling them to work on real-world industry challenges. These programs will not only enhance learners’ practical skills, but also inject fresh perspectives, user research insights and innovative design thinking into the bank’s ongoing digital transformation efforts.

Under the MoU, General Assembly and KFH will also collaborate on industry engagement activities such as workshops, career fairs, guest speaker sessions, and panel discussions. These engagements are designed to foster knowledge exchange among professionals and provide learners with greater insight into the financial sector’s digital landscape, serving as platforms to strengthen the ecosystem of digital innovation.

On this occasion, Ms. Ahlam Oun, Director of General Assembly Middle East Academies, stated, “We are proud of this partnership with KFH, which highlights the capabilities developed by General Assembly, particularly in terms of specialized Fintech experience. This MoU allows us to directly support KFH and contribute to the wider banking sector by connecting skilled professionals with opportunities, where their industry knowledge and technical expertise can support digital transformation objectives”.
