Sheikh Professor Dr. Esam Khalaf Al Enezi, Professor of Comparative Jurisprudence and Shari’a Politics at the Faculty of Shari’a and Islamic Studies at Kuwait University, holds a PhD in Philosophy in Fiqh and its Principles from the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Jordan – Amman – Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, obtained in 2004.

He has been serving as a faculty member at the Faculty of Shari’a and Islamic Studies at Kuwait University since 2010 and continues in this position to the present.

He is a member of the Fatwa and Shari’a Supervisory Boards in several Islamic institutions and banks inside and outside the State of Kuwait. He is also a lecturer in Islamic financial transactions and has authored numerous scholarly papers and studies in Islamic jurisprudence and
contemporary financial transactions.
